April 21 - FCCMA Regional Training - North Miami Beach
Ethics training, will meet required yearly hours. Attendees will be city and county managers from within Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Registration has closed.

May 19 & 20 - Northwest Florida League of Cities Summer Weekend - Panhandle
Join the Northwest Florida League of Cities (members include cities located within the following Counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Wakulla, Walton and Washington) for a day of education and social events. Topics include Florida's water future and restoration of train service in the panhandle. Registration deadline May 5, Reg. Form.

March 31 - International Attention - FCCMA District Training, Fort Myers

One incident away from international attention and changes in how news in shared in light of social media.

March 24 - Medical marijuana implementation - FCCMA District Training, Sanford

Planning and HR issues discussion. 

March 21 & 22 - Legislative Action Days and League of Mayors Roundtable, Tallahassee

One of FBW's premier events each year. FBW members joined almost 175 local officials in Tallahassee. Activities included meetings with legislators, an overview of current bills, and social opportunities. The two days were closed out with a Mayors Roundtable.

March 17 - Regulations for small cities - FCCMA District Training, Fort Walton Beach

March 2 - Free Webinar - Legislative Session expectations
An hour session, presented by the League of Cities on what to expect this legislative session and review priorities.

February 2 - 3, FCCMA Winter Institute, St. Augustine
This is the premier FCCMA/FBW event of the year. Attendance is limited to 90 full FCCMA members for a day and a half of intensive breakout sessions interspersed with down time including lunches and receptions.

January 27, Diversity and Inclusion - FCCMA District Training, Gainesville
This session featured agencies experiences and challenges with their self-assessment on diversity, law enforcement creation of an inclusive community and a federal/state overview of grant recipient compliance requirements.

January 13, Ethical Decision Making - FCCMA District Training, Bunnell, Flagler County
This session will meet the yearly state and FCCMA membership requirement for ethics training with a focus on the decision making process involved when considering ethical requirements.
